Retrospective Of Life

Let me tell you the lessons I’ve learned since 2018, I think it’s time to see how I’ve growth. In the past two years I have been fortunate to attend three concerts in three different cities, and today during my fifteen minutes of daily meditation, I can see how I was and how much I’ve growth, let’s see, but before I started, I want to challenge you in doing the same I did, think about the lessons you had in the last two years.

October 2018, Amsterdam, Netherlands,

Taylor Davis Live.

I no longer remember when I start listen this violinist, I just remember that during my road trip through Portugal, along with another violinist, it was my soundtrack. When I heard she had a few dates in Europe I didn’t think twice and bought the concert ticket, plus the plane ticket, I spend less than 100€ because I bought with time, and thank god, or I didn’t had the money for.

Let me tell you, in 2018 I lived paycheck to paycheck, I didn’t had a savings account, but on the other hand, I was an expert planing trips with low income (or I thought I was).

On the day of the concert, I just had money to dine anything simple, one sandwich and one drink before the concert, and when I was where the show was, I found out that I had to pay a small fee, luckily it was the amount, plus penny less penny, that I had in my bank account, €4.50, but I had €10.00 in my wallet to drink a beer after the concert. During the concert, I must have recorded about 2/3 minutes to remember in the future, and guess, didn’t see that since the day I’ve recorded. When the show come to an end, the artist was signing autographs, and as I only had the metro ticket, she signed it for me.

First of all, let me tell you that, a a few months ago I starting making some cuts on my budget and, as a hotel on trips of one or two days is a waste of money (at least for me), I prefer spend the nights somewhere else, walking through the city or looking for a place open for 24 hours.

For this trip I saw that Jazz Café Alto was open all night, and as I like jazz, I decided to stop by. The €10.00 was for two beers while watching jazz shows, but the bar closed at 02.00am, I was tricked by google. And there I was, alone in the streets of Amsterdam, trying not to stop because if I stopped, I would freeze…
