Small Steady Steps

Once I read a quote about small steps and it really affected me and changed the way I deal with everything in my life in general.

I used to think a lot and make researches about my career and dived into many ideas about how to improve my life in general. My imagination took me so far to places where I was able to achieve whatever I want whenever I want. In other words, It took me to what I really want. That was so easy.

Hi… Wake up. Thanks for the nice dream, but what’s next?

Every time I wake up from these magnificent imaginations I feel tired and have no idea how to start the path. Because I, by mistake, always thought about big steps that will send me directly to my goal. Unlike my wishes, that doesn’t work.

Alternatively, the quote I shared at the beginning gave me a new point of view. Therefore, I started to think about my goal and how I can work everyday in order to achieve it, although it will take some time.

For instance, you want to become a writer in Medium and get followers, fans and as much claps as you wish?. Ok then, you need to write everyday and share your thoughts with others. You need to do your best to be accepted by publications so that many more readers will see your posts. These are small steps.

Small steps also have rules that we must follow. It is not enough to break your main goal into small tasks and arrange them into a nice list on your phone.

You need to:

Be aware that future big achievements might be done with small steps today.
Be patient and believe in yourself.
Be Stubborn. In this case it’s allowed.
